Gretchen Mahan originally began her career in fine arts, working in art galleries and museums before pursuing an MBA in marketing. She chose to combine her creative and business skills, redirecting her career to the advertising industry. Gretchen has BFA's in Painting and Art History from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She received her MBA from the University of Cincinnati in 2004.


  • Led a pro-bono advertising/PR campaign promoting the SUMA Fatherhood Project resulting in record enrollment in parenting classes & being nominated for the SUMA board
  • Managed an Addy award-winning pro-bono campaign for the Northern Kentucky Health Department
  • Worked on Cincinnati Bell ZoomTown integrated marketing campaigns resulting in record sales
  • Led an integrated marketing campaign for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati which exceeded membership goals by 35%
    Worked on a five-person team to benchmark best practices for Delta Airlines
  • Independently conducted a study focusing on new business development across marketing, legal and consulting industries



Cincinnati Bell, SeaPak, Farm Rich, Provident Bank, Northern Kentucky Health Department, SUMA Fatherhood Project and the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.



Running marathons, yoga, cooking, volleyball, art, travel, reading, community service, spending time with family – especially my two nephews.
